Moses Mukundi - CEO and Founder at Eden Care

Before founding Eden Care Healthcare in January 2021, Moses experienced 7 years in the Investment and Venture Creation space. He has an MBA from the Wharton School and a Law Degree from the University of Nairobi. He founded Eden Care because of his own frustrations with existing health underwriters, a frustration that is shared with every healthcare user and buyer he had spoken to. Health premium costs inflation significantly outpaces CPI inflation. Long pre-authorisation wait-time of about 1 hour, denied claims with no transparency or appeals process, lack of prevention focus, long manual processes, and terrible policyholder service are some of the other frustrations shared by HR managers and people he had spoken to. He knew there had to be a better way, and when he found there wasn’t one readily available, at the press of a button, he founded Eden Care to solve that!

Kevin Rudahinduka - CEO at Eden Care Healthcare (Rwanda) Ltd

Kevin Rudahinduka is a dynamic leader in financial technology, currently serving as the CEO of Eden Care Rwanda. With a master’s degree in information technology from Carnegie Mellon University, Kevin's career journey has been marked by significant achievements. He previously served as Director of the Transformation Program at Bank of Kigali Plc, where he spearheaded innovative projects. Kevin's expertise also led him to roles such as Head of IT at KCB Bank Rwanda, where he introduced groundbreaking initiatives like the KCB mobile app and digital lending solutions. Joining Bank of Kigali Plc in 2016, Kevin played a pivotal role in driving the bank's transformation program, implementing key projects to support digital strategy initiatives. His contributions have revolutionised the financial services sector in Rwanda, introducing solutions like the BKquick instant digital lending platform and MPGS eCommerce merchant acquiring. Kevin's visionary leadership extends to driving technological advancements, including the implementation of T24 transact R20 and the establishment of the first BK ERP platform hosted in the cloud. Kyla-Rei Mulligan – Head of Culture & People at Eden Care

Kyla-Rei believes in building a professional culture on the foundation of lived values, clear policy frameworks and finished with the human touch that emerges from genuine authenticity in how people live, work and play. She graduated from the University of Cape Town with BSc Honours in Occupational Therapy and has never left the healthcare industry. With 14 years’ experience in various Human Resource roles in medical aid, health insurance and customer services, her passion lies in developing others to unlock their true potential and empowering them to achieve success.

Ekansh was the Founder & Chief Software Architect at AccessGate Labs, working on distributed architectures, API integration and API abstraction. His key interest lies in Java, APIs, Software architecture, and Microservices. He has recently been working on Banking, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and Finance/Trading domain.
